Within 24 upon arrival in Beijing, foreign nationals must register at a qualified hotel, or a police station for a registration form of temporary residence. It also should be updated within 10 days after moving and changing visa, resident permit or passport

Medical exam & Medical exam report verification
We have services both for immigration medical exam and driver medical exam. In Beijing, both medical exam need to be conducted at the approved hospital/medical center. The immigration medical exam report can not be used for the China driver’s license application. 
Required document of the immigration medical exam:
1. Passport
2. Three passport size photos 
Note: No eating 12 hours prior to the medical exam.                 
Required document of the driver medical exam:
A 1-inch white background color photo
Note: corrective glasses or contact is needed for the eyesight check（if applicable）. 

For the immigration medical exam conducted outside China, it is important to ensure that the report is completed properly as any deficiency may require re-examination in China. It must be verified at the immigration medical examination department in Beijing for processing application work in Beijing.
For the immigration medical exam conducted outside Beijing, verification for the medical exam report at the immigration medical examination department in Beijing is required for processing application work in Beijing.

Invitation letter
For L and F visa application outside China, an invitation letter issued by a corresponding administrative agency in China or an authorized Chinese unit may be needed depending on the specific status of the application.
For the Z visa (work purpose) application outside China, including the dependent Z visa application outside China, an invitation letter issued by the corresponding administrative agency in China or an authorized Chinese unit is a must.

Organization registration at the Public Security Bureau
JV, WOFE and the resident organization of foreign enterprise based in Beijing are required to register at the Beijing PSB. The registration should be reviewed annually. The proper registration is required for processing resident permit for foreigners in JV, WOFE and the resident organization of foreign enterprise.

Police clearance
Police clearance notarization is available in Beijing for foreign nationals who are on a resident permit or have a resident permit before. The notarization only covers the period of resident permit.

Alien employment permit & resident permit alteration
If the expatriate employee stays with the same employer but their job title is modified, the work permit must
be updated, which, in turn requires update of the residence permit. Accompanying family members
will also need to update their residence permits accordingly.
On changing employers, the employee must transfer their work permit to the new employer. One
point of note is that a release letter must be obtained from the previous employer, so relations
should be kept civil between the parties. Once again, it requires update of the residence permit. Accompanying family members will also need to update their residence permits accordingly.
